Did you ever hear the slogan “In business for yourself, but not by yourself.”
McDonald’s founder Ray Kroc famously promoted this slogan (although I’m not sure if he coined the term or not) as a way to entice prospective franchise owners and suppliers to work WITH the parent company rather than for them.
Multi Level Marketing (MLM) companies (otherwise known as ‘Network Marketing’) promote the same basic philosophy.
Today I talk about why Network Marketing companies do their distributors a huge disservice by teaching them to bug their warm market.
If you opened a McDonalds restaurant and all you did was bug your friends and family to eat there every day, how successful do you think you’d be?
